The Melbourne Ice Women have drawn 2–2 against the Braves IHC 2 in their opening game of the 2021-22 IHV Senior Summer League Division 2 season. The Ice currently sit equal first on the standings though Ice Hockey Victoria have yet to release the score of yesterdays other game so the standings may change. The Ice return to action on 6 December where they will take on the Monarchs IHC 2 at the Oakleigh Olympic Ice Skating Centre.
