Ice Hockey Australia has withdrawn the men’s senior team and men’s under-18 team from the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group A and 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division II Group B tournaments respectively due to ongoing travel restrictions. Both tournaments will now proceed with five teams each. The decision follows the withdrawal of the women’s senior team two weeks ago and the men’s under-20 and women’s under-18 teams back in September.
