The Melbourne Ice have defeated the Monarchs 6–1 in the their tenth game of the 2021-22 IHV Senior Summer League Division 2 season. The Ice remain third on the standings and are twelve points behind the Braves who currently lead the league. The Ice are back in action on 28 February when they take on the Monarchs again though this time at the Oakleigh Olympic Ice Skating Centre.
