The CBR Brave have announced their first six players ahead of the 2022 AIHL season.
– Jordon Brunt: First joined the Brave in 2015. Played in 77 AIHL games and recorded six points. Represented the Australian men’s under-20 and under-18 national teams at the World U20 Championships and World U18 Championships between 2016 and 2019.
– Andreas Camenzind: First joined the Brave in 2019. Played in 22 AIHL games and recorded 47 points. Former member of the Swiss men’s national team, playing in five games during 2004-05 season.
– Nick Christensen: First joined the Brave in 2019. During his debut season he played in 21 games and recorded four points.
– Jackson Gallagher: First joined the Brave in 2019. During his debut season he played in 13 games, recording two penalty minutes.
– Kai Miettinen: First joined the Brave in 2014 after three seasons with the Canberra Knights. Played in 212 AIHL games and recorded 76 points. Represented the Australian men’s national team at the World Championships in 2017 and 2018.
– Aleksi Toivonen: Most recently with the Melbourne Mustangs during the 2018 AIHL season and a former member of the Brave from 2015 to 2017. Played in 78 AIHL games, posting a save percentage of 87.7 in the regular season and 88.0 in the playoffs.
