A petition to help save the Penrith Ice Palace has been launched following the news that the rink had been sold to developers. The aim of the petition is to gain the assistance of the Penrith City Council and NSW State Government in helping to keep the rink open.
A fundraising measure via the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) is also being run with the aim to cover leasing costs, repairs and initial supplies of the rink.
