The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of goaltender Jakob Doornbos for the 2022 AIHL season. Doornbos joins the Ice Dogs after playing for the CBR Brave in 2018 and 2019. Primarily serving as a backup with the Brave Doornbos has played in one AIHL game where he posted a 91.7 save percentage. He is also a former member of the Australian men’s under-18 national team competing in three World U18 Championships between 2017 and 2019.
