The Melbourne Ducks have announced the signing of Christopher Drake, Brody Lindal and Ryan Rintala for the remainder of the 2022 season. Drake is a former member of the Melbourne Ice, playing three games for the club in 2005. Most recently he has been playing for the Braves Ice Hockey Club in Ice Hockey Victoria’s Premier League. Lindal spent the 2021-22 season playing for Burnaby Winter Club’s U18 Prep team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League’s under-18 division where he posted 18 points from 37 games. Rintala had previously signed with the Adelaide Adrenaline for the 2020 AIHL season before it was cancelled. Most recently he as been part of the Adelaide Avalanche’s off ice staff.
