2022 Women’s U18 World Championships: Australia shutout Turkey

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have defeated Turkey 5–0 in their third game of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division II tournament. Captain Ebony Brunt was named the best Australian player of the match. In the other games since our last update Mexico defeated Iceland 5–2 and Spain blanked Great Britain 4–0.

The team take on Latvia today in their second game of the qualifying round. This is the first time these two teams have met with Latvia debuting at this years World Championships. A win will see Australia top the Group E standings and advance them onto the bronze medal match.
