2022 Women’s U18 World Championships: Australia defeat Latvia

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have defeated Latvia 2–1 in their fourth game of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division II tournament. Forward Phoebe Roberts was named best Australian player of the match. Australia now advances to the bronze medal game against the loser of today’s Group D match between Great Britain and the Netherlands. In the other games since our last update Kazakhstan defeated Iceland 2–0 to qualify for the 7th–8th placement match and Spain shutout the Netherlands 4–0 to advance to the gold medal game.
