2022 Women’s U18 World Championships: Australia wins bronze

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have defeated the Netherlands 2–1 in the bronze medal game of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division II tournament. Forward Molly Lukowiak was named best Australian player of the match and forward Natasha Dube was selected as the best Australian player of the tournament.

In the other games since our last update Mexico defeated Kazakhstan 2–0 to finish seventh, Latvia beat Turkey 5–1 to finish fifth and Spain won the gold medal game against Great Britain 3–1, finishing the tournament in first and earning promotion to Division I Group B for 2023.
