The upcoming 2022–23 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League season has been shortened to a single round tournament to be held from 16 November to 20 November in Newcastle. A detailed schedule for the five day tournament has yet to be released. The season was initially set to feature a three round regular season followed by a playoffs round with games being held in Adelaide, Melbourne and Newcastle. The league has yet to reveal the reason for the cancellation of the Adelaide and Melbourne rounds.
