The Tasmanian Government have announced that they will fund a feasibility study for a new ice sports facility in Tasmania. The study will include identifying potential site locations, cost estimates for construction and determining funding models. Tasmania lost its only ice rink in May 2022 when the Glenorchy Ice Skating Rink closed.
