The Sydney Sabres have defeated the Melbourne Glaciers 7–4 in the third-place game of the 2022–23 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League playoffs at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. The Sabres had qualified for the match after losing to the Glaciers in the first semifinal and the Glaciers had progressed following their loss to the Brisbane Blitz in the preliminary final.
