Day 5 of the 2022–23 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Perth Inferno defeating the Sydney Sirens 9–6 at Cockburn Ice Arena. With their win the Perth Inferno move into second on the standings, edging out the now third placed Sydney Sirens on goal difference and trailing the first placed Melbourne Ice on win percentage. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Perth Inferno hosting the Sydney Sirens in the second game of their double header at Cockburn Ice Arena.
