Australian women’s U18 team defeat Mexico in exhibition game

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have defeated the Mexican women’s national under-18 team 2–1 in an exhibition game. Phoebe Roberts was named the best Australian offensive player of the game, Courtney Mahoney the best Australian defensive player and the hardest worker award went to Tara Baker. Australia’s two goals were scored by Natasha Dube and Phoebe Roberts. The game was held as part of the team’s training before the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division II Group A tournament which starts on 21 January in Dumfries, United Kingdom.
