Australian women’s U18 team loses exhibition game to Great Britain

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost their exhibition game 3–4 to Great Britain’s under-18 women’s national team. Lily Roberts was named the best Australian offensive player of the game, Gabrielle Arps the best Australian defensive player and the hardest worker award went to Bella Ma. Two of Australia’s goals were scored by Lily Roberts and Lucy York, their first goals scored in international competition, while the third was scored by Phoebe Roberts. The game was held as part of the team’s training before the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division II Group A tournament which starts on 21 January in Dumfries, United Kingdom.
