The Sydney Sirens have won the Joan McKowen Memorial Trophy after defeating the Melbourne Ice 5–2 in the 2023 AWIHL Final at the O’Brien Icehouse. The Melbourne Ice and Sydney Sirens had both qualified for the match after winning their semifinal games yesterday against the Perth Inferno and Brisbane Lightning respectively. The win gives the Sydney Sirens their second title in a row and third overall.
