The CBR Brave have announced the signing of Australian defenceman Lachlan Fahmy for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Fahmy spent the 2022 season playing for The Coast in the Pacific Hockey League where he recorded four penalty minutes from two games. Fahmy is also a former member of the Sydney Bears and Sydney Ice Dogs and between 2016 and 2019 he competed in 38 AIHL games and recorded seven points.
