The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the re-signing of goaltender Connor Dowell for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Dowell made his debut for the Ice Dogs in 2022 where he competed in four games, recording a 0.855 save percentage and a 5.05 goals against average. Dowell will serve as the Ice Dogs third goaltender for 2023, playing backup to Jakob Doornbos and Sean Ellison, while also competing in the East Coast Super League for the Reach Rebels.
