The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the re-signing of defender Marcus Hosen for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Hosen played 20 games for the Ice Dogs in 2022, scoring three goals and three assists. Since making his league debut in 2019 he has competed in 24 AIHL games and recorded six points. More recently Hosen joined the Sydney Sabres to play in the 2022–23 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League season and was part of the Australian men’s under-20 national team at the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championships.
