The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the re-signing of defender Shannon McGregor for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. McGregor played 20 games for the Ice Dogs in 2022, scoring two goals and ten assists. Since making his league debut in 2008 he has competed in 288 AIHL games and recorded 60 points. More recently McGregor was part of the Australian team that competed at the 2023 Trans-Tasman Clash in New Zealand which they went on to win three games to nil.
