The Brisbane Lightning have announced the signing of Canadian forward Jordan McTaggart for the upcoming 2023 Australian Ice Hockey League season. McTaggart spent 2022 playing for the Brisbane Rampage in the Pacific Hockey League where he scored 17 goals and 12 assists from 14 games. Between 2014 and 2020 McTaggart spent five seasons playing in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference and a in the North Peace Hockey League.
