Tasmania’s Department of State Growth and Events Tasmania have provided an update on the feasibility study they are currently running for a new ice sports facility. Through consultancy agency Waypoint the study has so far collected participation data, facility needs and member aspirations. They will now move onto running a public survey which will look at demand, frequency of use, type of use, preparedness to travel, and price sensitivities. The survey is expected to run over the next two weeks.
