Australians overseas 2022–23: United Kingdom (part 2)

Continuing our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2022–23 season. Today is Part 2 of 2 featuring Australians in the United Kingdom.

Victor Kam: First season in the United Kingdom. Playing for the Imperial Devils B in the Division 3 South of the British Universities Ice Hockey Association Kam recorded three goals and two assists from his nine games.

Jane O’Connor: Second season in the United Kingdom. Playing for the Chelmsford Pythons in the Women’s National Ice Hockey League 2 O’Connor competed in five games, recording two penalty minutes. Chelmsford finished the season in last place on the South Conference standings and failed to qualify for the playoffs.

Alexander Wardlaw: First season in the United Kingdom. Playing for the Oxford City Stars in Division 1 of the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) Wardlaw recorded 12 goals and 28 assists in his 29 games. He also made a further six appearances for Oxford in the NIHL’s Division 1 South Cup where he scored five goals and six assists. Heading into the 2023–24 season Wardlaw has signed with the Edinburgh Capitals to compete in the Scottish National League.
