2023 Phillip Ginsberg National Championship: 4 August results and standings

Day 3 of the 2023 Phillip Ginsberg National Championship saw the completion of the preliminary round with wins for New South Wales and Western Australia. New South Wales finished at the top of the standings and advanced to the semifinals against the fourth placed South Australia. Western Australia finished second and moved through the semifinals against the third placed Victoria. Queensland finishes the preliminary round in fifth and fails to advance.

In the first semifinal New South Wales shutout South Australia 2–0 and in the second semifinal Western Australia defeated Victoria 4–1. Competition resumes tomorrow with New South Wales taking on Western Australia in the gold medal game while South Australia and Victoria will play for bronze.
