The Newcastle Northstars have won the 2023 East Coast Super League Final after defeating the Sydney Bombers 3–2 at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. The Northstars had qualified for the match after defeating the Polyflor Raptors in yesterday’s semifinal round and the Bombers had advanced after winning their semifinal against the Reach Rebels. The win gives the Northstars their fifth Warwick Griffith Memorial Trophy and first since 2018.
