Australian women’s U18 team loses exhibition game to Italy

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost 0–6 to Italy’s under-18 women’s national team in their exhibition game at Würth Arena in Egna, Italy. The match was held as part of the team’s training camp before the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B which starts on 8 January in Jaca, Spain. Italy meanwhile used the game as a warmup for their Division I Group A tournament which gets underway tomorrow in Egna.
