The 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group B tournament gets underway in a couple of weeks at Pionir Ice Rink in Belgrade, Serbia. The competition will take place from 14 January to 20 January 2024 with Australia taking on Belgium, Chinese Taipei, Iceland, Romania, and Serbia. Australia’s opening game of the tournament is against Iceland. The two teams last met at the 2020 World Championships where Iceland defeated Australia 4–1 in the Division III gold medal game.
