2024 Winter Youth Olympics’ Women’s 3-on-3 tournament: Australia loses to China and Turkey

The Australia women’s national youth 3-on-3 team have lost 3–11 and 2–10 against China and Turkey respectively on Day 4 of the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics’ Women’s 3-on-3 ice hockey tournament. In the other six games played Hungary recorded two wins and both China and Turkey picked up a win each in their second game. Italy and South Korea meanwhile recorded one win each. Australia finishes the preliminary round in sixth place and fails to advance to the semifinal round. Hungary tops the standings with seven wins from seven games and will meet the fourth placed Italy in the first semifinal. China finishes the preliminary round in second place and will face off against the third ranked South Korea in the second semifinal.
