The East Coast Super League (ECSL) have announced that they will remove all age restrictions from team rosters for the upcoming 2024 season. In previous seasons ECSL clubs were required to maintain set percentages on players under a certain age. Players competing in the 17U League and the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League however will still be required to prioritise those competitions over the ECSL.

Also announced by the league was their committee for the 2024 season. Les Adams will serve as president, Jason Kvisle as vice president, Cathy Menzies as secretary, and Sharon Kelly as treasurer. In addition, Joshua Adams, Matt Musumeci, Erik Tilsted, and Sue Moncrieff will serve as ordinary members.
