Canberra Brave have announced the signing of New Zealand forward Jake Ratcliffe for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Ratcliffe is a former member of the Sydney Bears, having played for the club in 2019 and 2022 where he recorded 73 points from 39 games.
During the 2023–24 season Ratcliffe competed for the Danbury Hat Tricks in the Federal Prospects Hockey League where he scored 13 goals and 31 assists from 41 games. Between 2015 and 2024 he has spent time playing in the Australian Ice Hockey League, Federal Prospects Hockey League, NCAA’s Division III, New Zealand Ice Hockey League, Southern Professional Hockey League, and the United States Premier Hockey League.
