Adelaide Adrenaline
– The Adrenaline have announced that goaltender Tyler Steel will not be joining the club for the 2017 season after breaking his hand during the Southern Professional Hockey League playoffs for the Huntsville Havoc. Adelaide Adrenaline
– The Adrenaline have signed Canadian defencemance Morgan McNeill as their fifth import for the 2017 season. McNeill has spent the 2016-17 season playing for Bouctouche JCs of the North East Senior Hockey League where he recorded 11 points in 27 games. McNeill had original signed with the Adelaide Red Wings to play in the South Australian Premier League however he has been picked up by the Adrenaline while they wait for their goaltender Tyler Steel to finish his season in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Sydney Bears
– The Bears have announced the signing of Canadian defenceman Nick Rivait for the 2017 season. Rivait has spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League were he recorded 21 points in 50 games. Adelaide Adrenaline
– The Adrenaline have announced the signing of Canadian goaltender Tyler Steel for the 2017 season. Steel has spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League where he finished the regular season with a 0.914 save percentage from 35 games. Steel will join the club upon the completion of the Havoc’s season which is currently in the second round of the playoffs. For more information see the club announcement.

CBR Brave
– The Brave have announced new and returning sponsors for the 2017 season. Returning sponsors include allinsure, Coordinate, McDonald’s ACT, and Anytime Fitness who has increased their support to be a major sponsor. The clubs new sponsor is the Tuggeranong Hyperdome who comes on as a major sponsor for 2017. The ACT Government and Active Canberra will also continue their support of the National League Team Program.

Perth Thunder
Jamie Woodman will take over the captaincy for the 2017 season. Woodman replaces Sam Wilson in the position who has held it since the club joined the league in 2012. Andrew Cox will return as one of the clubs alternate captains, while Per Daniel Goransson replaces Jordan Kyros as the second alternate captain. For more information see the announcement from club.

Newcastle Northstars
– The Northstars have announced the signing of Canadian forward Steven Kuhn for the 2017 season. Kuhn has spent the 2016-17 season playing for Bisons de Neuilly-sur-Marne of the French Division 1 where he has recorded 20 points in 24 games. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have announced the signing of Canadian forward Tyler Noseworthy for the 2017 season. Noseworthy has spent the 2016-17 season playing in the Federal Hockey League, Southern Professional Hockey League, and the North East Senior Hockey League. – The Adrenaline have announced the signing of Zachary Boyle for the 2017 season. Boyle spent the 2016 season playing for the CBR Brave where he recorded nine points in 29 games. Boyle previously played for the Adrenaline in the 2014 and 2015 seasons. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Perth Thunder
– The Thunder have announced a partnership with MyLeadPod, an automated business reward program.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have signed American forward Jackson Brewer for the upcoming 2017 season. Brewer spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) where he recorded 41 points in 43 games. During the 2015-16 season Brewer spent time at three other SPHL clubs, the Knowville Ice Bears, Huntsville Havoc and Macon Mayhem, and was loaned out briefly out the Evansville IceMen of the ECHL. Sydney Ice Dogs
– The Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Canadian goaltender Damien Ketlo for the upcoming season. Ketlo spent the 2016-17 playing in his fifth season for the University of Lethbridge of the U Sports system, recording a 0.881 save percentage in six games. Prior to joining the University of Lethbridge Ketlo had a brief stint with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL in the 2011-12 season. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Newcastle Northstars
– The Northstars have announced the signing of American forward Joseph Harcharik for the 2017 season. Harcharik has spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Ice Hockey League where he recorded 39 points in 53 games. Harcharik returns for his second season in the AIHL, previously playing for the Sydney Bears during the 2015 season. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Sydney Ice Dogs
– The Ice Dogs have announced the re-signing of Canadian forward Grant Toulmin for the upcoming season. Toulmin competed in 21 games for the Ice Dogs last season, recording 15 goals and 16 assists. During the AIHL offseason Toulmin has competed in the Polska Hokej Liga for GKS Katowice and Orlik Opole before moving to the MOL Liga to play for DVTK Jegesmedvék. – The Brave have revealed their new jerseys for the upcoming 2017 season which includes a new design for their away jersey. For more information see their Facebook page.

Perth Thunder
– The Thunder have announced the signing of goaltender Peter Di Salvo for the 2017 season. Di Salvo previously played six games for the Thunder during the 2015 season where he was signed on an interim basis to cover for the injured Mark Guggenberger. Di Salvo has spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Mississippi RiverKings in the Southern Professional Hockey League as well as being loaned out to the Wichita Thunder and Allen Americans of the ECHL. Sydney Ice Dogs
– The Ice Dogs have announced the return of defenceman Shannon McGregor for the 2017 season. McGregor last played for the Ice Dogs in 2015 before taking a year out from the AIHL. McGregor has played in a total of 193 games for the Ice Dogs, recording a total of 34 points. He is also a former member of the Australian national team, competing at the World Championships in 2014 and 2015. For more information see the announcement from the club.

– The Brave have announced that they have formed a partnership with the Canberra Cavalry of the Australian Baseball League in order to help drive promotion between the two clubs. Newcastle North Stars
– The North Stars have announced the signing of forward Josh Harris for the upcoming 2016 season. Harris has spent the 2015-16 season playing for the Peoria Rivermen in the Southern Professional Hockey League and has previously competed in the ECHL and Central Hockey League. Newcastle North Stars
– The North Stars have announced the signing of Canadian defenceman Brandon Greenside for the 2016 season. Greenside spent the 2015-16 season playing for the Peoria Rivermen in the Southern Professional Hockey League where he recorded 37 points in 56 games. Greenside has also previously played in the Eredivisie and Canadian Interuniversity Sport system. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have announced the signing of Canadian defenceman Ryan Annesley for the upcoming season. Annesley last played for Stjernen Hockey of the GET-ligaen during the 2013-14 season and has previously played three seasons in the ECHL. For more information see the announcement from the club.

CBR Brave
The Brave have announced the signing of Geordie Wudrick for the upcoming 2016 season. Wudrick spent last season playing for the Newcastle North Stars where he scored 96 points in 30 games and was named both the regular season and playoffs MVP. During the AIHL off-season Wudrick returned to play for the Louisiana IceGators of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
