Sydney Ice Dogs sign Arvid Ljung

The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Swedish goaltender Arvid Ljung for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Ljung spent the 2023–24 season playing for IHK Comet Halden in the EliteHockey Ligaen where he recorded a save percentage of 0.871 from 27 regular season games and 0.936 from four playoff matches. Between 2012 and 2024 he has spent time playing in the 1. divisjon, Alps Hockey League, EliteHockey Ligaen, HockeyAllsvenskan, HockeyEttan, HockeyTrean, and HockeyTvåan. Ljung has also served as a backup goaltender in the Swedish Hockey League between 2017 and 2019.
