Sydney Ice Dogs re-sign Douchkov, Ellison, and Miller

The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the re-signing of James Douchkov, Sean Ellison, and Max Miller for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season.

Defender James Douchkov returns for his second season after playing twelve games for the Ice Dogs in his 2023 debut season.

Goaltender Sean Ellison played eight games for the Ice Dogs in his 2023 debut season, recording a save percentage of 0.839 and a 7.59 goals against average.

Forward Max Miller played 21 games for the club in 2023, recording six penalty minutes. Since making his debut in 2022 he has competed in 38 AIHL games and is yet to record any points. During the AIHL’s off-season Miller played for the Sydney Sabres in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League where he recorded five points from five games.
