The Sydney Ice Dogs have announced the signing of New Zealand defenceman CJ Kemp for the upcoming 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Kemp spent the 2023–24 season playing for the Ontario Jr. Reign in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Premier division where he recorded four assists from 13 games. Between 2020 and 2024 Kemp has competed in four seasons of the New Zealand Ice Hockey League and two in the United States Premier Hockey League.
