The Brisbane Lightning have added Canadian forward Matthew Lavergne to their roster for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Lavergne is currently playing for Puckers Ice Hockey in the Brisbane United Ice Hockey League’s Division 1 where he has a goal from two games. Between 2014 and 2018 Lavergne competed in the Alberta Minor Midget Hockey League, Hockey Calgary’ Bantam AA and Midget AA leagues, and the North American Prospects Hockey League’s 18U division.
