Newcastle Northstars forward Wehebe Darge has been named the Skaters Network AIHL Player of the Week for the weekend of 13 and 14 April. Darge recorded seven goals and an assist in his team’s win over the Central Coast Rhinos on 13 April and a goal and two assists in their win against the Sydney Ice Dogs on 14 April.
