The Central Coast Rhinos have added American defenceman Matthew Brown to their roster for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Brown spent 2023–24 playing for Milenio Logroño in the Liga Nacional de Hockey Hielo where he recorded two goals and an assist from eight games. He also had a brief one game stint in the Federal Prospects Hockey League, playing for the Port Huron Prowlers.
Between 2017 and 2024 Brown has spent time playing in the American Collegiate Hockey Association, College Hockey Federation, Federal Prospects Hockey League, Liga Nacional de Hockey Hielo, North American 3 Hockey League, and the United States Premier Hockey League’s Premier division.
