Day 16 of the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for Canberra Brave, Melbourne Mustangs, Perth Thunder, and Sydney Bears. In the Hellyer Conference, the Sydney Bears move into first place, pushing the Melbourne Ice down to second. In the Rurak Conference, the Newcastle Northstars maintain their lead at the top of the standings and Canberra Brave move up to fourth place with the Adelaide Adrenaline dropping to fifth. The Sydney Bears also take the lead in the league’s combined standings with the Melbourne Ice in second and the Newcastle Northstars in third. Competition resumes on 25 May with games in Central Coast, Melbourne, Newcastle, and Sydney.
