Day 24 of the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for Canberra Brave, Melbourne Ice, Perth Thunder, and Sydney Bears. In the Hellyer Conference, the Sydney Bears remain in first, edging out the Melbourne Ice due to their greater number of wins in regular time and overtime. In the Rurak Conference, the Newcastle Northstars remain at the top of the standings and Canberra Brave move up to second place, pushing the Brisbane Lightning down to third. The Sydney Bears also continue to lead the league’s combined standings with the Melbourne Ice in second and the Perth Thunder in third. Competition resumes tomorrow with games in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Newcastle.
