The Melbourne Ice have added goaltender Greg Davis to their roster to serve as a backup to Thomas Forrest while Tatsunoshin Ishida is out due to suspension. The Ice are Davis’ third club signing for the season. In April he served as a backup for two games with the Perth Thunder and two games with the Sydney Bears. Davis is also a former member of the Melbourne Ice having served as a backup goaltender during the 2022 season.
During 2023 Davis served as a backup in four games for the Thunder and competed for the Melbourne Sharks in Ice Hockey Victoria’s Premier League where he recorded a save percentage of 0.810 and a 4.00 goals against average from one game.
