The Melbourne Ice have released their roster for the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League season. Comparing to the Ice’s 2023 roster it includes 12 returning players and 11 new signings, while 19 players are released.

The new players include John Aonso (from SUNY-Fredonia), Samuel Bartlett, Ellesse Carini (from Sydney Bears), Joakim Erdugan (from Central Coast Rhinos), Flyn Gower, Joey Hughes (from CBR Brave), Tatsunoshin Ishida (from Yokohama Grits), Raymond Khalil, Spencer Nave, Jeff Solow (from Birmingham Bulls), and Lachie Walls.

The players dropped are Declan Bronte (to Franklin Pierce University), Justin Dixon (to Melbourne Mustangs), Darcy Flanagan (to Oxford City Stars), Logan Gallacher, Sam Hodic (to Brisbane Lightning), Michael James, Kahu Joyce, Yuga Kikuchi (to Melbourne Mustangs), Artem Klein (to Mad Dogs Mannheim), Patrick Klöpper (to Hannover Scorpions), Roman Kraemer (to Carolina Thunderbirds), Paul Lazzarotto, Austin Lefkowicz, Brody Lindal (to Sydney Bears), Chris Schutz (to Hammer Eisbären), Corey Stringer, Zoltan-Laszlo Toke (to CSM Corona Brasov), Byron Tschuma, and Hector Vrielynck.
