The Brisbane Blitz will play an exhibition game against the Northern Ice on 13 July at Iceworld Boondall. The Northern Ice are an under-20 team of Canadian Indigenous players from Northern Alberta who have been touring Australia and New Zealand as part of the 2024 Tour of Hope. The Brisbane game is the final leg of the tour after the Northern Ice have already competed in Adelaide, Melbourne, Queenstown, and Wellington in addition to their planned Sydney game on 11 July.
