City Fertility joins the Blitz

The Brisbane Blitz have signed City Fertility as a sponsor for the 2019-20 AJIHL season. As part of their sponsorship City Fertility supplied the team with new training jerseys. For more information see the announcement from the club.

2019-20 AJIHL season: Round 4

Round 4 of the 2019-20 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the Sydney Wolf Pack and Brisbane Blitz. With their wins the Wolf Pack increase their lead at the top of the standings, nine points clear of the second placed Blitz. Competition resumes on 1 February with the Sydney Sabres hosting the Perth Sharks in Liverpool.

2019-20 AJIHL season: Round 3

Round 3 of the 2019-20 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League season has found finished with wins for the Sydney Wolf Pack and Brisbane Blitz. Following their wins the Wolf Pack move to the top of the standings, one point clear of the second placed Sydney Sabres. Next week the Perth Sharks host the Blitz and the Wolf Pack travel to Adelaide to take on the Generals.

Brisbane Blitz 2019-20 roster

The Brisbane Blitz have released their roster for the 2019-20 AJIHL season.

New players to the team include Jamie Brown, Aiden Catakovic, Lachlan Clifford, Matt Clifford, Onrii Dalgity, Samuel Holmes, John Kelly, Kyle Lancelot, Kayden Swanson, Kyle Wynne and Lochie Young.

While dropped from the roster are Matthew De Beer, Alexandre Gracia (to Enköpings SK J20), Ethan Kennedy-Smith, Mitchell Pailthorpe, Conar Peace, Imogen Perry (to Brisbane Goannas), Liam Perry, Marcus Rozenberg and Simon Mark Szalkai.

The Australian Junior Ice Hockey League have released the 2019-20 season schedule for the Brisbane Blitz. The regular season for the Blitz begins on 7 December with a home series against the Sydney Wolf Pack and finishes on 1 March against the Adelaide Generals.
