Day 38 of the 2024 Australian Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for the Adelaide Adrenaline, Newcastle Northstars, and Perth Thunder. Following today’s results, Canberra Brave and the Melbourne Ice are the third and fourth teams to qualify for the 2024 Goodall Cup playoffs joining the Sydney Bears, who qualified in June, and the Newcastle Northstars, who qualified earlier this month.
In the Hellyer Conference, the Sydney Bears remain in first place with a twelve-point lead over the Melbourne Ice in second. In the Rurak Conference, the Newcastle Northstars remain at the top of the standings, five points clear of the second placed Canberra Brave. The Sydney Bears also continue to lead the league’s combined standings with the Melbourne Ice in second and the Perth Thunder in third. Competition resumes on 27 July with games in Adelaide, Central Coast, Melbourne, and Sydney.
