Day 1 of the 2024–25 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with wins for the Melbourne Ice and Perth Inferno. With their win in regular time the Melbourne Ice sit at the top of the standings, one point clear of the second placed Perth Inferno. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Perth Inferno hosting the Sydney Sirens at Cockburn and the Brisbane Lightning take on the Melbourne Ice in Melbourne.
