
Day 17 of the 2024–25 Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League regular season has finished with the Melbourne Ice defeating the Perth Inferno 8–7 at the O’Brien Icehouse. The standings remain unchanged after today’s game with the Adelaide Rush in first, one point ahead of the second-placed Perth Inferno. Competition resumes tomorrow with the Melbourne Ice hosting the Perth Inferno at the O’Brien Icehouse in the second game of their double header.
Today’s game also served as the Melbourne Ice’s Pride Game. As part of the event, the Melbourne Ice wore special themed jerseys which are being auctioned off to raise funds for Proud 2 Play.
