The Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) have announced that the 2 February game between the Adelaide Rush and Sydney Sirens at Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink has been cancelled due to issues with the rink. The AWIHL had attempted to move the game to an alternate venue but were unsuccessful at securing the ice time. The outcome of the game is yet to be clarified by the league though it will be likely declared as a tie with both teams receiving a point.
Update (31 January 2025): The league has announced that the game will now go ahead as scheduled.
