Brisbane Lightning have announced the signing of Canadian forward Tanner Hopps for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Hopps spent 2024–25 playing for Macon Mayhem in the Southern Professional Hockey League, where he recorded an assist from two games. Between 2016 and 2025, he has spent time playing in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, British Columbia Hockey League, NCAA’s Division I, Southern Professional Hockey League, and U Sports system.
