Melbourne Ice has announced the signing of forward Thomas Powell for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Powell previously competed in the AIHL for Melbourne between 2004 and 2019, recording 484 points from 385 games. Since his last appearance in the AIHL, Powell has been playing in Ice Hockey Victoria’s Premier League for the Blackhawks IHC. In 2024, he competed in 19 games for the Blackhawks and recorded 36 points.
